I managed to take a few quick shots.

The White-browed Shrike Babbler ( Pteruthius flaviscapis) 16.5 cm
This specie is quite rarely sighted or posted in blogs. So it created a high level of excitement for me when just one bird appeared from the thicket and perched on a tree branch just 50 meters or so away. My equipment set-up was not quite ready, having just arrive at the location. Nonetheless I tried my best to follow this very agile bird as it hop-skip-jump from one branch to the next. And it did not stay long either. As quickly as it appeared did it disappear in same tandem speed.probably did not not find the grubs appetizing to warrant staying longer. :-)
