The Streaked Wren Babbler (Napotera Brevicaudata) 14-14-5 cm
This is one bird that is attractive with just one major color for it plumage - brown. I believe that it's also got to do with the beautifully 'layered formation' and the whitish wing-spots which further enhance this already attractive bird.
The Black-eared Shrike Babbler (Pteruthius melanotis) 12 cm
On this occasion only a single bird was sighted. It did some quick foraging and disappeared as quickly as it appeared. I was lucky to be able to take a few record shots albeit from some distance. The average size of this specie is just 12 cm.

The White-browed Shrike Babbler ( Pteruthius flaviscapis) 16.5 cm
This specie is quite rarely sighted or posted in blogs. So it created a high level of excitement for me when just one bird appeared from the thicket and perched on a tree branch just 50 meters or so away. My equipment set-up was not quite ready, having just arrive at the location. Nonetheless I tried my best to follow this very agile bird as it hop-skip-jump from one branch to the next. And it did not stay long either. As quickly as it appeared did it disappear in same tandem speed.probably did not not find the grubs appetizing to warrant staying longer. :-)
I managed to take a few quick shots.
Little Cuckoo Dove(Macropygia ruficeps) 28-33 cm
It was taking full advantage of the glimpses of sunlight which appeared intermittently from the otherwise cloud shrouded sky to sunbathe. Weather has been unusually laden with thick blankets of mist and clouds.
