Hornbills on Parade!

The Rhinocerous Hornbill is 1 of  10 types of Hornbills to be found in a few forest reserves in West Malaysia. All 10 types could be found in Belum-Temengor which possess high levels of biodiversity and support sizable populations of large birds such as hornbills. The other hornbills are namely, White-crowned Hornbill, Wrinkled Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, Plain-Pouched Hornbill, Black Hornbill, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Great Hornbill and Helmeted Hornbill.

In this photo presentation I have pleasure to share 4 types of Hornbills namely:

Rhinocerous Hornbill (Buceros rhinoceros) - Size : Male/Female 91 - 122 cm

Oriental Pied Hornbill (Antharacoceros albirostris) - Male/Female : 68 - 70 cm

Great Hornbill - (Buceros bicornis) - Male/Female : 119 - 122 cm

Black Hornbill (Anthracoceros malayanus) - Male/Female : 76 cm

Thanks for dropping by. Hope the hornbills have provided you with some good entertainment. Cheers!

    Hi

I'm with a children's textbook publisher in India. I was wondering if we could use your lovely photo of a hornbill, seen here: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_rubWvuDOhPg/TLBmAeQWt4I/AAAAAAAAE_Q/VuzhIuYY8VM/s1600/_MG_0685.JPG, in a book for 6-7 year-old children. Thank you.

    Regards
