The Mountain Imperial pigeon is the largest pigeon in the region. The calls of this pigeon is unique, loud and deep- throated. It has a certain 'majestic sound' in them and could be heard from a long distance away. In my own description, the calls kind of resonates & vibrates with an echo effect if environment is quiet. Always a wonderful sight and experience to see these great birds and hear their calls.
