Greater Raquet-tailed Drongo ( Dicrurus paradiseus ) 30 - 37 cm

The Greater Racquet-tailed Drongo is always a fascinating bird to watch. It's long forked tail with twisted 'racquets' at the tail-ends further add to it's 'attractiveness' and makes it one of the popular birds with bird watchers. It has feathers that glistens under bright sunlight into shining hues of black and green. And when in-flight the long tail could be seen fluttering in the wind.
