The Grey Nightjar (Caprimulgus indicus) 28-32 cm

The Nightjar species and it's sub-species never fails to trigger a high level of interest amongst birders and bird watchers. More so perhaps of the 'unique look' of this specie. And the 'mysterious air' it creates when we go out searching for them in the sometimes darkness albeit the light emitted from the beams of torch lights, akin to searching for Owls. The pitch darkness of the night search further compound the overall excitement of the search.

This Grey Nightjar photo is another one of those forgotten photos. I have not posted it before.
