Streaked Wren Babbler ( Napothera brevicaudata) 14 - 14.5 cm

On this occasion we spotted 4 of them (probably 2 adults and 2 juveniles) skipping and hopping merrily within the confines of their favorite montane home. Initially they were quite contented to just forage inside the thick twines and foliage of the shrubs just off the main path. A short while later they started to emerge from their 'cover' to the open ground. Our opportunity to photograph them was immediately enhanced and we clicked away!
