Another Raptor - one good thing lead to another! The Himalayan Buzzard, (Buteo burmanicus)!

Before I could get over the excitement and 'good luck' of sighting and taking photos of a Raptor early in the morning, another Raptor was in full view, again! It looks like all raptors liked to perch on a lamp post today. :-)
This one is a rare Himalyan Buzzard, a winter migratory specie from the northern hemisphere. Each year the harsh winter season triggers the migration of some birds, including Raptors, south wards and to warmer clime. This yearly ritual also provided bird watchers in the south the opportunity and pleasure to sight and record them.

Here are 3 photos for sharing.

Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!
