The Blue-eared Barbet (Megalaima australis) 17 - 18 cm

Just like the others in the Barbet family the Blue-eared packs some great colors for it's plumage. It is a rather small bird when compared with the other Barbets but larger than the Copper-smith Barbet. 

It's natural habitat are evergreen broadleaved forests below 975 meters in Pen Malaysia.
